I haven't come across a broken connector yet. Overall: When I switched my home network to CAT6, I wanted to make custom cable lengths for specific applications. Although I had a lot of experience with traditional RJ45 crimp connectors I decided to try them out to see if it would be easier, especially as I'm color blind. I'm impressed that 40 connectors have been used so far and not a single failure! Being able to see the wiring after it was threaded through the connector but before it was crimped saved me from accidentally mixing up wires and being color blind certainly helped! My Fluke PoE cable quality tester gives these connectors the proverbial thumbs up and I certainly look forward to using more of these connectors in the future.
