It works with the HDMI outputs on my original Raspberry Pi computer, Raspberry Pi 2 and CHIP computers with no setup required other than selecting the HDMI input on the LCD. However, the display is quite dark even at maximum brightness. Another annoyance is that a broken, permanently installed cable comes out at the bottom that I don't use or don't want. Also, the custom lettering along the top does a great job of making the piece look very cheesy.
