I've had these shoes for three weeks now and have ridden my stationary trainer 8 times. As others have noted, the fit is a little tight, but comfort is adequate. The sole is quite stiff and the shoes help with a good workout. However, I'm only giving these shoes three stars due to two design flaws, one small and one because someone didn't bother to see how they fit. The first is with SPD spikes. The shoes don't have built-in SPD screw sockets like many cycling shoes, so stick a small piece of metal in the recess where the screws go. But when the metal piece is in place, the cushion positioned over the cutout bulges out, giving your foot a slightly annoying "princess-and-pea" feel. It's okay, but the design is lame. Also, the upper straps look like they are perfectly aligned without the foot, but once your foot enters the shoe the straps are not aligned as shown in the photos. To tighten the band, one end or the other must be bent. I don't have oddly shaped feet and others must have experienced the same thing. This is just a case of shoddy low-cost sneaker design and Nike needs more quality control in the design. The workmanship is ok, but whoever designed the shoes clearly didn't pay attention to the details. The shoes aren't bad, but could be a lot better without the extra cost of production.
