These modified high beam LED bulbs are very good, just like the modified low beam LED bulbs, but their installation requires some effort. literally. Put them in my 2015 Golf GTI to replace the horrible yellow bilges as I had already replaced the low beams with LEDs. Replacing the high beam on the passenger side was easy. It took about 10 minutes. The driver's side (as well as the low beam) was a headache, you know what. Cut my hands trying to tighten it. There is very little space on the driver's side next to the headlights. After I installed the LED it was not possible to rotate it so that it made contact with the power supply. about a quarter turn is required. I ended up removing the back of the original halogen as it has a knob that can be rotated. I glued it to the LED and then I could rotate it. Removing the tape was a little tricky. The whole process took about 30 minutes. The headlights seem to work. No errors on the console like others. hope they hold up.
