💡 LASFIT H15 LED Bulbs: Super Bright Xenon Cool White Light – 60W, 6000lm, 6000K (2 pack) Review

Overview will be changed if problems can be solved. Installed high beam/DRL bulbs in a 2011 GTI. Error codes on the dashboard, flickering at startup and the complete lack of DRL. I also bought a low beam bulb so let's see how they work further.

These headlights were installed without any problems. They look great, the performance is definitely better. They work as both DRL and Hi-Beams. I will never turn off the LED lighting. Straight seat H15 save these cars life. Very well made LASFIT. I'll mention a curiosity here: when the emergency brake is applied, when I start the car I get the message "DRL front right disabled". I've already gotten used to making sure my electronic brakes are off before I start the car.

I was thrilled to receive it and immediately fitted it to my 2013 VW Tiguan. Unfortunately not suitable for living. The specifications are different from the original H15 bulb. The problem is the rubber ring on the bulb. Without a light bulb, the flashlight sits very freely in the body and does not light up. With built-in ballast ring, it cannot be installed because the ballast ring is too thick and does not fit. Will have to return.

I wanted to replace the halogens with these in my 2013 VW Golf TDI. Installation was fairly easy, except there was little room to work in the headlight housing (more of a VW issue). Installed on my MK7 GTI today and needed a little modification to make it work. Unlike standard H15 bulbs which use a small spring clip to keep tension across the bulb, Lasfit has used a rubber washer. The problem is that the rubber washer is too big and won't seat the pear properly. I ended up removing the washer and adding a small rubber o-ring instead as shown in my drawing. These modified high beam LED bulbs are very good, just like the modified low beam LED bulbs, but their installation requires some effort. literally. Didn't expect it. I have read other VW reviews and others have had no issues with later VW models. I have a 2012 Golf TDi. This is a routine install, VW's fault, not the headlights. But after a long installation process on my MK6 these LEDs were throwing out codes and flickering on startup. I bought H15 bulbs as daytime running lights/high beams for my 2017 VW Golf GTI. The standard GTI came with LED fog lights and halogen headlights - drove me crazy (mild OCD). Didn't want to do any modifications - non-original headlights, xenon conversions, ballast, etc. Other than that, not many options for H15 bulbs. Update: I've had these bulbs for exactly 1.5 years and both have already burned out. I will not buy again. First Rating: Overall good light and an improvement over the OEM.
