Review on 💡 LASFIT H15 LED Bulbs: Super Bright Xenon Cool White Light – 60W, 6000lm, 6000K (2 pack) by Robert Diaz

I bought H15 bulbs as daytime running lights/high beams for my 2017 VW Golf GTI. The standard GTI came with LED fog lights and halogen headlights - drove me crazy (mild OCD). Didn't want to do any modifications - non-original headlights, xenon conversions, ballast, etc. Other than that, not many options for H15 bulbs. I've tried some of these secondary blue bulbs but it's all a waste of time as the color is too blue and the light output is terrible. Most LED solutions either don't have reviews or the reviews are terrible. Until I found LASFIT lamps - the reviews were great, so I decided to try them. When I opened the bulbs I was a bit disappointed. There were scuffs and nicks on the aluminum frame as if they had been used before. Maybe someone bought them, tried them, and then returned them to Revane. Who knows. tired me I started putting bulbs in, but they didn't screw all the way in. Great I thought to myself, now I have to send them back :). I did notice, however, that there is an opaque rubber pad around the base of the bulb, probably to keep out dust and water, so I removed it to see if the bulb would fit. And so it was. Big! A light flashed, a beautiful white light with a blue tint. Love it! The system didn't issue any warnings either, so far so good. One problem, without a seal, the piston is too loose and there is no protection against water and dust. I tried looking at HomeDepot for a replacement - the washer that came with it is 1/16" thick, I figured I'd need a 1/32" washer. HomeDepot didn't have anything, so I made my own by cutting it out of a bike tube. I put it on, screwed in the bulb and it fit almost perfectly. Maybe a little loose but I think it's enough to stay inside. Don't know if this affects the water/dust protection - we'll see. I will update the review when I start getting condensation etc in the headlight. Another plus is that the bulb fitted nicely into the body and I was even able to replace the headlight dust cap, which I was worried about before I got my hands on the bulbs. In general I am satisfied with the purchase. I took off a star because of the condition of the bulb and the extra work I had to do to install it. I might deduct half a star, but that's not an option. I will try H7 bulbs. I may have to wait a while to see if there is a sale or something similar as they are a bit pricey although there is a lot of competition/availability from H7 bulbs so I might as well try another brand.
