Media could not be loaded. I installed this kit on my 2014 Mazda 6. If you install them on a Mazda you will be interested to read this. If not, continue to the next paragraph. First let me say that if you want LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) you will need to buy a harness. I bought one from jdmtoy.com. It's called the R1 kit. Mazda isn't listed on the vehicles it can be used on, but it works. If you are not using this kit, the LED bulbs will only light up when you are using the headlights and they will not light up when they should be working as DRLs. If you are using the electronic brake, the light will turn off when the electronic brake is on. Try leaving the bulb out of the headlight so you can see it from the driver's seat to test it while the car is in gear. For the LEDs themselves. I will say they are brighter than some others I've had in the past, but they still can't handle HID settings. That being said I will still use these LEDs instead of HIDs just because I always seem to have an issue with the HID ballast. With these LEDs it was so nice not having to worry about my light not working. With that, I don't worry about failing around the corner. Also, this design does not use fans. My biggest complaint with my latest LED kit was that I could hear the fans driving while driving. I will say that they do feel warm to the touch since they don't have fans, but I haven't noticed any overheating issues so far and I don't think that should be a problem. They have a nice 6k color in my opinion. I prefer to buy LEDs of the same brand so I can be sure I'm getting a close color match. When I saw this low beam and DRL kit, I decided to give it a try.
