Nice dollhouse for beginners and a fun (time consuming) project!
I love Melissa and Doug's products and they were great value for my 2 year old! I didn't like the color scheme so, like a few other reviewers, I gave it a fancier look. I wish they had other color options because it took me ages to cover this with enough color to cover the original pink and deep purple color of the gum. As for the right house, here are my thoughts: Pros: Small and easy to store Suitable for younger children Children Inside is a clean wood base for creativity. Relatively light weight. Affordable price. Furniture layouts No latch to close house when carried (too easy to open) Furniture does not stay in place when carried around house
