Review on Western Medical GL110W Surgitube Tubular by Aaron Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just forgot a small amount of small print

Have ordered "Surgitube" before, didn't notice, it's only 10 meters. I ordered a 50 meter pack and found that not only was it good for finger injuries but better for toe sores too. I had a sore on my toe that required 10 visits over two months and forgot to use the surgitube instead of gauze and bandages. It would be safer, cleaner, and cheaper to only use the Surgitube on the #2 toe (not the big toe). Of course, you still need to apply triple antibiotic ointment and a small gauze pad before using the Surgitube. An applicator is not required. But the wound on the toe has to change the bandage every day. This product and changing it every day can save your fingers and toes. ADDED As far as I can tell this is the smallest size available. This may work for smaller fingers, but place the end of the surgical tubing at the base of the finger as directed and tape a small piece of 3M surgical tape (no longer sold at Walmart) available at most pharmacies. Then twist the applicator (if it's included, or if not, twist the Surgitube on the tip of your finger or toe and press down to the base of your toe. Of course, this is NOT a sterile bandage, so you'll need to apply it attach a small gauze pad with "triple antibiotic ointment" directly to the wound and tape a small piece of 3M tissue tape to the gauze pad to hold it in place. Then attach the surgical tubing to your finger or leg. Remove everything at least once a day and repeat the process. To keep the surgical tubing clean and dry like washing your hands, there are latex "finger pads" that can be wrapped around an injured finger. They can be "reused" QUANTITY of the Surgitube you order .A 50 yard box will NOT expire or go to waste.5" can serve as an applicator if the length of surgitube tube (twice the length of a finger or tube) is worn on the pa n can be hand or pipe. I am currently looking for an applicator for g on light wall PVC or CPVC pipe or other light wall plastic pipe.
