Good alternative to plaster.

Removed ingrown toenails and this is what my podiatrist used. Easy to use. Better than plaster. Works great on fingers and toes!

This product is in SOLD condition only 10 meters

be careful it is only 10 meters the packaging says 50 meters snorkel gauze. Crate! Otherwise the product does the job, a bit difficult to apply, good luck!

Ideal for finger wounds.

Lightweight cotton gauze tube. If you know how to use this you will find it best for the application. Using a length equivalent to approximately four layers measured by scoring five finger lengths. Place the gauze applicator on your finger, leaving a layer of gauze. Remove the applicator and twist the end of your finger, apply again to the base of your finger and repeat the sequence. Good luck, takes practice but will be invaluable for wound care.

Pros
  • Heavy duty finish

Mandatory!: Gauze

I grew up with this item and when I found it was available again I had to have it. This is a must see if you have kids or just tend to cut your fingers like me. I usually can't even find fingertip bandages in stores and they don't always fit the injury and are also expensive. It will save you from all these troubles. Just pull, twist and push and you've got a neatly bandaged finger - just tape underneath to keep it in place! Get it - you will love it!

Keep things in order! Apply with one hand!

I was fed up with the bulky and uncomfortable gauze bandages for my injured finger so I ordered these. I had to watch a YouTube video because the packaging instructions weren't clear enough for me, but I managed it one-handed on the first try! I walked slowly to make sure I didn't damage my already stitched (and bandaged) finger. My instructions: Cut a piece of tubing three times the length of your finger. Put it on the applicator. Gently place the applicator on your finger. Remove the…

Ease of use: Gauze and pads

So I got this mainly because I realized right after ordering 50 yards that there is no applicator. Well, it was worth buying. It can go faster than 50 meters, so I can use it right away (I'll end up using both). The applicator looks like a finger splint you can buy at the pharmacy without foam, which helps when trying to apply it after twisting. Anyway, I'm mainly using it as an extra cushion with crazy toe splints as my toe is healing from an injury. The pressure was too much and the foam…

Just forgot a small amount of small print

Have ordered "Surgitube" before, didn't notice, it's only 10 meters. I ordered a 50 meter pack and found that not only was it good for finger injuries but better for toe sores too. I had a sore on my toe that required 10 visits over two months and forgot to use the surgitube instead of gauze and bandages. It would be safer, cleaner, and cheaper to only use the Surgitube on the #2 toe (not the big toe). Of course, you still need to apply triple antibiotic ointment and a small gauze pad before…
