I really need to take more time to objectively review this shoe. I can only tell you what my first one day experience with this shoe brand/model was. I've ordered them to replace some NB 829s which they don't seem to make anymore. After a little research I decided to try my luck with these shoes. I ordered the exact same size NB for old shoes. Here are my first thoughts: Cons: Shoes are tight: That's to be expected from a leather shoe and I'm sure it will stretch with some wear. I wear 11.5" 4Es and they fit snugly around my foot. It's time to break them in. Low Heel: Compared to the old NB shoes, the heel is much lower. This increases the risk of a "flat tire". much higher when you take your shoes on and off so you will need to loosen the laces a little when you put these shoes on.The support is different: the heels and sides of the testicles seem to have more support.The metatarsal arch support was in the much better than older shoes Pros: Comfortable: After being on my feet all day, they are warm and dry: One of my pros about mesh running shoes is that while they are breathable, they don't protect feet from the rain or cold this shoe offers sufficient protection Price: The price is unbeatable.
