Switched from the long range microwave to this small one. Absolutely fantastic. I was a little concerned about the long cook times, from our 1400W model to this 800W microwave. I suppose it doesn't matter? Or is it somehow softened? Because in fact it seems that it takes no longer to warm up a cup than an old one. And it still fits our dinner plates (Corelle standard). The location of the power cord is nice and reasonable, it's attached to a part of the back panel that's not as deep as the rest, so you can easily bend and route it. this is a crappy sound from the timer / end of cooking time. He just emits a pathetic "beep" and then falls silent. I think it gives a reminder tone every minute. It's almost impossible to use as a kitchen timer unless you're in the room with it. No star for this, but it could be slightly improved.
