This is my third pregnancy, the first was almost 10 years ago and the second 7 years ago. Yes, it was unexpected. This time I wanted to use as many natural ingredients as possible and this was one of the first products I found with decent reviews that met all of my needs. It's thicker than regular lotion and not as greasy as shea butter or coconut oil. This is the first pregnancy where my skin hasn't felt itchy or like it's about to tear. I only have to apply it once a day after showering. I was a size 2 before pregnancy and have always had a flat stomach, so my body has had to adapt a lot. I'm not very prone to stretch marks, but I have a few from previous children on my thighs and a tiny mesh around my belly button. I see no signs of new spots and am now 7 months pregnant. I will continue to use this lotion after my baby is born simply because my skin is handling it well. I'm prone to dry skin and follicular keratosis (bumps) on my arms and this lotion helps me manage those conditions as well. I don't understand how anyone can be disappointed with this lotion but everyone has their own preferences.
