The old "take the kids to school" van is now the kids leaning to drive vehicle. As far as I can remember had the original sylvania halogen lighbulbs in, dim and yellow after 15 years of use. I have upgraded my car and my son's SUV to LED headlights and by comparison driving the Van with it's old halogen bulbs it seemd like the lights were not on at all.So I ordered these. They seem very well constructed, with a cord leadding to the plug with a box inline acting as the controller/voltage regulator and a integrated cooling fain on the back of the "bulb". It included some of that spongy double sided tape to attach the contoller box and wire ties to use if you need to deal with the extra wires.Following the included instructions I plugged a bulb into the electricalsystem withotut the extra work or mounging it to test compatability, All worked fine, so I went ahead and installed them. Installation was a little more difficult than just replacing the bulbs, but I did not run into any major issues. Getting the bulb past the "screw in" retention ring my vehicle uses took some wiggling and strong fingers, but I managed to get them in properly.WOW (see Pic) HUGE difference, at night you can actually see ahead of the van. the light is reflected properly by the headlight assembly in low bean to not blind oncomming drivers, high beam goes out WAY further than the old worn out halogen bulbs.They are a little pricy compared to the competition, but I'd rather pay a little more and have bulbs I trust and don't have to replace soon.
