I think some reviewers think this should have been metal! Let me just say you just have to be smarter than the topper itself #1. #2 this is NOT for adult dogs! I bought this for my kittens - 5 males when they were about 8 weeks old when they started having problems. It was necessary to keep them in a safe and quiet place for their long sleep and at night. Works well. The tabs don't always line up perfectly hence only 4 stars but long enough to easily wrap around the nearest trellis. Make sure the Velcro is attached to the outside of the handle. Washable and stretchy as they use it as a trampoline while jumping off their scratching post. What a treat! No tearing after all and wash once a week. I wish they had made the handle bigger to double the length of the handle as my kids are now 6 months old and tall. But I just take a second one and sew them together. I've got a mind and I use it, boys. VERY GOOD PRODUCT!
