I have to admit that I was very excited to use these because I was fed up with aluminum foil or a bowl, but in my opinion after what happened to them I would rather use them. I am very disappointed after using them. The included cotton pads dried so quickly that after trying to remove them they stuck to my nails. I tried to remove the dipping powder. I do my own nails and was willing to redo them. My index finger has come off part of my natural nail and I am frustrated that now I have to file my nail and wait for it to grow back to the size I was. I might try using them with actual cotton balls in hopes they don't dry out as quickly. If not, I just go back to slide. Please, for God's sake, if you take care of your nails like me and don't want to worry about cracked/broken nails, DO NOT USE the cotton pads that come with the kit!
