The belt is very elastic, so you can order one size smaller. It is very comfortable. I originally ordered my normal size belt but it was a bit too big but I kept it when I put heavy shirts in it. I then ordered the next size down and it fits great. For the purposes of this review, it's good that I have two straps to compare. With the first belt, it is very difficult to thread the tongue at the end of the belt through the waist loop. However, the second strap goes through easily, so it's not a permanent problem. I took off 1 star for the looping issue but overall they are good straps.
