Check stock bracket before purchase. You will see that in some cases your speed camera detector is permanently installed. This does NOT apply to these blendmounts. For $100-$140, you literally just slide it over a piece of metal, which "folds" into this sticky pad. This seal wears out over time as it goes through thermal cycles. THIS MUST BE REPLACED BEFORE THIS MOUNT IS EVER CLOSE TO THE PRICE. Obviously, money is their main motivator. I have one of their more "universal" mounts. I wrote to them first just asking for an adapter to use what I already bought! Well first I was told it was just NOT compatible, now how do I go about buying this $140 mount! I show them that with a little more compression everything will work just fine. Anyway, now they won't refund my "car" which doesn't work on my new car and pretty much just offer me a discount. so I basically still have to buy another $100 mount. Blendmount experience. Oh crap, my $100 mount doesn't fit my new car. Okay, that could be done with a little help from the supplier. Oh no, you need a whole new one! That sucks, can I have a discount! Yes of course! (My thoughts, cheers, don't throw away another $100 on an obviously cheaply made mount that at least works). Oh wait a minute. new bracket 140, discount canceled. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Unless money counts for you, just use the standard mount. They need to lower their prices.
