After extracting the old part, I inserted the new one into the antenna and it was enough to press a little for the new part to snap into place. Fits perfectly. First I removed the antenna but then realized it would be more difficult to line up the antenna socket with the hole in the new part. With the antenna in place, the nest slid right through the hole. The new part is made of durable rubber material; no plastic as some have complained that the parts are not OEM parts. It was soft enough to slide right where it should be with almost no effort. I am very happy with my purchase and the antenna looks great again.
