I thought this was a great pure whey isolate. I've been buying protein powder for about 10 years and I'm pretty picky when it comes to health. Avoid artificial ingredients, fillers, sugar, etc. For the price, this is about what you can get. Of course, you can get grass-fed organic alternatives for more, which is great, but some of us can't always afford it. If you're on a budget this is top notch, they use sunflower lecithin not soy which I really appreciate and that's why the 'foam' that people complain about is lecithin (soy or other). an emulsifier and that's what it takes so that there are no lumps and it mixes properly. I personally love the creamy consistency I get when blending. Hope that helps!
