This will save your toothbrush. A few years ago my first sonic toothbrush died so I took it apart and found that water had gotten in and corroded the motor, circuit board and battery. This was because the rubber seal under the brush head broke and water was leaking out. I think this design flaw is intentional to allow the brushes to have a limited lifespan. I recently noticed that the gasket on my current brush is looking pretty bad and stumbled across this replacement gasket. You have to get the brush out of the handle so it might break. But disassembly is very simple, there are many videos on how to do it. It took me 5 minutes to install. It was the perfect match.
