This screen protector really does feel like paper. It has a familiar texture and works great with a stiff rod. Microsoft Surface Pens have a textured tip on the writing tip, and you won't get that "paper feel" when you pair them with this screen protector. If you want a real "paper feel", I recommend using a hard-tipped stylus with this screen protector. Another important note is that this screen protector will cause some inaccuracies in surface touch input. This is a known issue with all brands of screen protectors. Microsoft has yet to improve its touchscreen, and the latest Surfaces still struggle with screen protectors in place. With this in mind, active pen input isn't interrupted since it needs to be a stronger signal than our fingers. Overall I am satisfied with this screen protector. .
