I gave these to my niece who is a full-time team swimmer and she needs earrings that don't tarnish or discolor from chlorinated pool water (she doesn't remember removing earrings) . She wore them all the time and loved them very much. They look really cute on her - not too big and not too small. The positive compared to the other earrings I gave her (about a dozen, mostly bought here in Am.) is that despite the fact that she swims every day, no crystals have fallen out, they are surgical steel (we are very picky regarding the type of metal that fits in her ear. I usually only give her SS or gold), they have a ball screw (she lost a pair of earrings while swimming or something, but they never came out, and they are real comfy when she's sleeping or put on a bathing cap) and they're turtles. Who doesn't love a shiny turtle? We just love her and I love to see it on her. I feel that of all the earrings I have bought her, these are the best and in my opinion the most valuable.
