Just finished a quilted diaper bag, using yellow chacoliner to mark the sewing lines on the light green piping. I am so disappointed that the chalk is NOT coming out. I've tried wiping it down with white vinegar and cold water to remove it, just dish soap with hot water - literally nothing completely removes the lines. There is still a faint but very noticeable yellow line on the straps. He ruined my bag and I am so disappointed that all the time, effort and money that went into this gift is now wasted. I can't gift him if those marks are still visible. I'm really shocked about this. Clover products are generally very good. I like the way chacoliners work, but that's a major downside to an otherwise great product. In over 40 years of sewing, I have never seen chalk that simply cannot be removed.
