I am installing some kind of data storage in the boiler room of a new house. Most of my equipment is rack mounted, but I bought two towers before moving to rack mount equipment: Dell T110II and Intel SS4200 NAS. I wanted to get her off the ground and out of the way. I bought a wall unit to test with the T110II. ## Summary The build quality is quite satisfactory. The design works well and does its job well. Installation is simple and the design is convenient to use. The supplied equipment is almost complete. The adhesive coating on the foam pads can be easily removed. The quality of the supplied strap is very standard. All in all, the price seems a bit high. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone who really wants to wall mount the tower.## Product Overview The package includes: 1. Two piece wall mount: A. An L-Bracket that attaches directly to the wall with 4 mounting holes. B. A clamp piece that fits into the top of the L-shaped wall bracket and clamps the tower from the top.2. 4 metal drywall anchors and 4 pan head Phillips screws.3. 1 black seat belt.4. 2 foam pads placed on the bottom of the L-Bracket to dampen vibration and secure the tower. The build quality fully corresponds to the purpose. The design of the device works well. The supplied equipment is sufficient and of decent quality. My only complaint is that the mount seems pretty cheap compared to the other parts. However, it works without any problems. ## InstallationInstallation was easy. The kit includes 4 metal drywall anchors and screws. The screws should serve a dual purpose in either the included drywall anchors or directly in the wood stud. First locate the post with a finder and drill a hole. Loosely attach the bracket to the wall at the top mounting point with a screw (I borrowed the heavier ones from the StarTech wall stand). Place a spirit level on the bracket and mark the locations for the other center mounting hole and the two side holes. Rotate the latch sideways to insert the screw-in anchors for each of the side attachment points, then screw another screw into the 2nd center attachment point. Finally, screw the two screws for the side attachment points into the drywall anchors. Once the mount is installed on the wall you can insert the clip into the top and thread the included strap through the mount. The adhesive protection on the foam pads is more difficult to remove than it should be, but the foam appears to be of good quality. Place the foam pads on the bottom of the bracket in the correct position for your tower. Finally, place the tower in the bracket, pass the tape through and tighten. ## Conclusion I am satisfied with the kit and will buy a second wall mount for my Intel SS4200 in addition to the T110II.
