Although the sound quality is a bit low with little or no low tones, I will say that I personally think it is appropriate for this product as you can still hear what is going on around you goes. . Pleasant background music is played while you ride, skate or whatever you do. The speaker is also small enough to last for several hours. If you're in a noisy environment, the speaker probably isn't loud enough to overcome it. But then again, it won't be loud enough that you can't hear your surroundings, which I think is important. The helmet itself is comfortable with plenty of good padding. The chin strap is easily adjustable and keeps comfortably and securely. I'm sure it would be possible in a more expensive version with better sound quality and also longer battery life. And of course a special application for it. But for this price range I find it just right. Wearing a helmet might not look that cool, but one playing music is a good incentive to wear a helmet and a great place to put a speaker.
