Review on Camelbak Mil-Spec Antidote Reservoir Short, 100 oz (90854) by Travis Coffman

I have this military 100 oz short antidote, long version, earlier NBC USGI version and about 5 civilian versions; I can't sing the praises of camel gear. This gear has served me well for dehydration and hand protection for over a decade (see reviewing my gloves). I purchased the Antidote Short 100 specifically for use as part of an integrated system on a bulletproof vest with an armorbak pouch. This is the perfect body glove. Quick release buckles on both ends make routing easy, the hose cover fits perfectly, keeps the snorkel from overheating in the desert, and I've had no issues with leaks even while running, rowing, riding, and crawling through mud, shooting. and drills to move etc. No, I'm not a USMC Ranger SEAL scout sniper from the basement brigade and I'm not a true super duper high speed low resistance special force operator. However, I've worked in different industries, which has allowed me to use a lot of cool things around the world, from jungles to high deserts to extreme highlands. I have transported this or very similar camel cow products through all of this and to many airports with no problem. After several alpine ascents, desert mountain biking, shooting and movement training, and general shenanigans, my camel bug bladder is still in great shape, and not for the first time. leak or problem. Be sure to only use water in it. Any drink with an electrolyte or something sweet inevitably contributes to the growth of funk.
