Faulty seal - leaking

Faulty locking mechanism for a quarter turn of the filler hole. I spent over an hour checking the seal and trying to close the lid. To be honest I don't understand how this bag became "military". ANY slight pressure will cause water to leak around the gasket and if placed horizontally water will leak. Very disappointed. One of the positive aspects is the mouthpiece and the explosion-proof valve. I bought this bladder because the valve on my civilian bladder broke. I will now be looking for this

Almost Perfect for Backpack Accessories

This item is great with some modifications. I swapped out the mouthpiece because it's huge and takes up all of my personal space, and I trimmed the whistle to remove excess length. To remove parts from the rework tube, heat the tube with a hair dryer. The rest of the bladder and tubing is fine. I paid about $34 and am happy with that price. Oh, and yes, the cameras are amazing. Like this feature. A camel tube clip also works well with this model, but it's not worth paying more than $11 for it…

Pretty durable. with an error.

Update (2021): Had to be sent in for warranty repair. If I squeezed the bladder slightly around the fill hole, the bladder would leak. It took time and effort to send it to Camelbak for a replacement. They did a good job getting me a replacement back quickly but the replacement had the same issue. This appears to be a design flaw and the problem is that if your pack requires the bladder to be squeezed a bit on the sides to fit in the "hydration compartment" (like mine) your camelbak around the…

Ideal for 5.11 Rush 24 and Rush 72 packs

Fantastic drinking chamber. It goes very well with my 5.11 Rush 72 which I use for 3 day hikes or shorter. It's wider than narrower bladders, meaning it stretches better and doesn't bulge onto your back or into the space of your pack. The stitching and connections are very strong, the hose has all the parts to disconnect, and the mouthpiece cover is strong and easy to find. The innovative lid on the hydration reservoir is easier to open and quicker to close while still providing an excellent…

By far the best bladder on the market.

By far the best reservoir I've had. Here are the unique features that make it the best: First, you'll notice that there's a divider running down the middle of the bubble. This places half of the water on each side of the back, directly on the back muscles. This allows you to carry water in a much more natural and balanced way. Second, the bladder is short. That means it can't fall off in your backpack. Again, the weight is properly distributed, just on the lower back muscles. Third, the tube is

Camelbak keeps you hydrated everywhere!

I have this military 100 oz short antidote, long version, earlier NBC USGI version and about 5 civilian versions; I can't sing the praises of camel gear. This gear has served me well for dehydration and hand protection for over a decade (see reviewing my gloves). I purchased the Antidote Short 100 specifically for use as part of an integrated system on a bulletproof vest with an armorbak pouch. This is the perfect body glove. Quick release buckles on both ends make routing easy, the hose cover…

I bought this in preparation for hiking the Texas Hill Country and Taos, New Mexico this summer. I already have a good pack so I don't need a full CamelBak hydration pack. After reading the reviews and going to my local sporting goods store to compare the CamelBak Mil-Spec to the standard Blue Civilian tanks, I settled on the 100 oz Mil-Spec. short bladder because: * It appeared to be made of better/stronger materials. *Includes hose cover. * Liked the drinking mechanism on/off lever, bit valve

The best water bath for your money! Robust and packed with useful features.

I have many packages and 6 of them contain water bubbles. Of all the water bubbles I have, this one is the best! My favorite features: 1) it's durable. Some of the cheaper cameras I own are made from very thin materials and I often wonder if they will stand up to heavy use, e.g. B. when they are dropped or dropped from a backpack. this bladder is not leaking; it is very well made and can withstand harsh operating conditions; 2) The quick disconnect hose from the bottle is a nice feature as it…

i love hiking i live in the desert Dehydration is my enemy.

I have been using this reservoir for several months now with both pleasure and discomfort. When living under the tyranny of the sun, the ideal is to have both plenty of water and a reliable way to transport that water. This product does a really good job with the former; With a capacity of 3 liters I can (sometimes) enjoy long hikes with water. The tank itself makes a well-made and durable impression. The hose is a decent length and is wrapped in a sleeve that both protects against abrasion and
