Review on Camelbak Mil-Spec Antidote Reservoir Short, 100 oz (90854) by Brian Potter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent build quality and fits in the Oakley laptop kitchen sink compartment!

I bought this in preparation for hiking the Texas Hill Country and Taos, New Mexico this summer. I already have a good pack so I don't need a full CamelBak hydration pack. After reading the reviews and going to my local sporting goods store to compare the CamelBak Mil-Spec to the standard Blue Civilian tanks, I settled on the 100 oz Mil-Spec. short bladder because: * It appeared to be made of better/stronger materials. *Includes hose cover. * Liked the drinking mechanism on/off lever, bit valve and dust cover. short neoprene bladder sleeve to keep the water as cool as possible, add a layer of pressure/pinch/pressure bladder protection when my bladder is in my pack and also prevent possible bladder sweat from leaking into other parts of my pack oozes. The neoprene insulating sleeve fits like a glove. Featuring a mil-spec chamber in a neoprene insulating sleeve, it fits snugly into the Oakley Kitchen Sink's padded interior compartment, designed to hold a laptop up to 15 inches. CamelBak hose through the pack's side zipper and then attached the hose to the pack's shoulder and chest straps with adjustable hydraulic hose clamps that I found at Revain. They attach to the backpack straps.
