I used this liner in my Midwest guinea pig cage to protect the bottom of the cage. I usually use disposable puppy urine pads, but I decided to give these a try as well because they are washable, which means they are cheaper and more environmentally friendly. They fit perfectly in the cage and do not slip on it. I put aspen litter on top as I usually do it with disposable pads and I found that they last the longest and control the smell pretty well and it was pretty easy to shake off these pads when I got the cage after a week of use cleaned. . The bottom of the cage was slightly damp in places after the bedding and pads were removed but it didn't look particularly wet or discolored after a week with two guinea pigs in the cage so overall I'm very happy with it. It also comes with two pads so you can swap them out if you need to wash the first one. The small dustpan that comes with the kit is quite flimsy, but it can be used to sweep up the leftover bedding from the corners of the cage.
