This shoe is the wrong size

I just received these shoes for my autistic son, he was so delighted with these boots. But they are too small. I bought a size 4 and he was already wearing a 3. They are exactly the same size as his old adidas. So I will return them. The second picture where I compare him to his used Jordans is a size 4.5.
