Sensitive, Difficult to Read, Light in Room Disturbing, Non-Replaceable Battery, Clock Runs Fast

My cardiologist was impressed with the ECG graph, but dammit, he's sensitive. Your fingers must be properly positioned and *absolutely* still, and you must stay away from electrical interference (wiring, lights, radios, cars, etc.). A pulse oximeter is poorly designed and almost never gives good readings as it is also very sensitive to finger position and will not work when external light hits the sensor. The collection interval is fixed at 20 seconds per graph, so it is not suitable for monitoring intermittent arrhythmias. The latest iPhone app and firmware version 2.1 supports "AirTrace" which allows longer recording of heart activity, but this feature could be better integrated into the app (e.g. AirTrace mode can only be used on the BM-88 itself be selected before the app starts ). The blood pressure is not measured directly and the calculated value is very different even after "calibration"; It seems too dependent on heart rate. The temple temperature reading is about 2 degrees lower (compared to an ear or oral thermometer) and often reads "out of range" instead of showing a reading. It's good that the data can be downloaded to the free BodiMetrics app on my iPhone and transferred to the Health app, but the BodiMetrics app can use the 'Print' function (the best I can do is take a screenshot and then print it out). The internal battery lasts for several weeks depending on usage, but is not user-replaceable when depleted. The LCD doesn't have a backlight, so it can't be used without a backlight, which is a bit of a problem because some light sources (fluorescent and LED) interfere with both the ECG and the pulse oximeter. The internal clock is fast - the displayed time is 2-3 minutes faster per month if not regularly synchronized with the phone.
