I have been using this collar on my 7 month old German Shepherd since May. No problem. Just like their other products, durable, well thought out, gentle on the dog. If you have any questions, just contact the company. They stand behind their products. FYI, for a dog that is twitching like crazy, you should use a harness: pulling the collar that hard is really bad for the dog's throat (windpipe, vertebrae, etc.)
