I usually found the LED bulbs to be less bright than I would like so I liked the fact that I could wire these two lights in series to get double the lighting. (NOTE: Read the ad carefully - you'll need to buy a separate cord if you want two lights side-by-side rather than back-to-back.) I ended up not needing both light bars, however, as only one light bar was bright enough for my shells . Before buying these lamps I didn't know anything about CRI (Color Rendering Index). I bought this light to replace an old traditional fluorescent light that had sat over my sink for decades. I was amazed how much better things look with 85 CRI. The mounting clips are made from very light metal which means they can easily be accidentally damaged when hanging the light bars, but it also means the clips will not be installed with 100% perfect alignment. The clips conform to the light strip while still holding it in place very securely. They come with a toggle switch pre-installed in the middle of the power cord. However, since my setup was on the ceiling, the center of the cable wasn't accessible from the floor, so I had to get a simple built-in switch from Home Depot to provide a switch I could reach.
