This is a review of the Country Green Linen Set as well as the White Linen Set, both of which have long pleated pillowcases. These sheets are perfect! As another reviewer pointed out, they're the right weight and made with great construction and attention to detail. As this is 100% cotton, please expect wrinkles. This can be countered somewhat by using a little more liquid fabric softener and/or a few extra sheets of fabric softener. Since I like the shabby chic/French country house style, wrinkles don't bother me. However, if I went the extra mile and ironed them (like we did in the bad old days), I wouldn't hesitate to use a can of aerosol strength: you can control the "crispness" you want. Starch you use for products. Since I have a "float or sink, baby" attitude towards clothes in the washing machine, like all other clothes, I wash them on a warm or cool regular cycle and dry them in desert summer temperatures with a little shrinkage, which was normal. they are so generously proportioned. Despite their "abuse" from the washer/dryer, the sheets fit not only on my mattress, but also on a 4" memory foam topper and despite a slight shrinkage in the dryer too with no issues. They were delivered quickly and nicely packaged. I will definitely be purchasing more items from Queens House as the need arises. (And I really hope they stock up on another nice set of gummies that I'm craving ;-) Tip, tip!)
