My dog used to poop in the yard, which we regularly cleaned with a dustpan. That was until he suddenly decided 12 years later that he was afraid of the backyard after being scared of a pine needle. At that moment he was just pooping right in front of my neighbor's house. Will he poop on the walk? no Will he poop in front of OUR house? no Would he poop in a public place if it didn't personally offend someone who knew where I lived? no What was so wonderful. I LOVED IT SO SO. I've never collected feces before and it terribly annoyed me to imagine I could feel warmth or texture through the bag. Luckily I had a roll of these on hand - they were REAL during his "pooing three times a day in front of the neighbors with a big picture window" phase. Not only is the scent of lavender excellent at masking most bad smells my dog gives off (and EVERYTHING once the bag is tied), but the bags are thick and springy and I don't feel as comfortable touching poop. I also never ripped or broke the bag which is very nice. I love my dog. And I love him more now, having returned to his own yard after 8 months of pooping ONLY ONE PLACE in front of my neighbors when they made eye contact. But those poop bags and the handy little container they sell that attaches to a leash was amazing.
