Typical cat behavior, I get the most comfortable pet bed I can find at Revane and my girlfriend has it in the three Weeks of leaving it to her, didn't even look at it. I turned my pillow to the light cream side, and every day I come home from work, throw my stuff on the floor, and run to her cat bed to check for black hair. none! I expected her to at least enjoy the fruits of my labor while I was away and then pretend to ignore the bed when I was around so she could at least maintain the image that she wasn't around I cared, but unfortunately it doesn't look like it. Right now she's rubbing against my leg and looking at me with her big yellow eyes, I pet her and tell her she's the best thing I've ever seen. I think she's trying to read what I'm saying about her. Yes, she prefers to sleep on the floor and nowhere else. I tried to pick her up and put her on the bed but she kept jumping out and looking at me like I just tried to put her in a tub of water. "Try to sleep in bed at least once, darling, you might even like it!" I tell her every day. No, verbal thinking doesn't work, it's back to earth for them. This wonderfully comfy bed is going to waste and I may give it to someone who has a cat that loves their comfort.
