The shower head in our master bathroom was many years old so we decided to replace it. We originally used the "rain shower" head because I was tired of feeling like there was never enough water. And yes, it was PERFECT - except for the part where we ran out of hot water very quickly and our gas bill went through the roof. So we continued our search and decided to give it a try. Water is DEFINITELY limited. The only way to get power is to put the whole spray together. The other way is like a downpour when you're under a baby cloud. Yes, hot water definitely lasts longer. Yes, I can wash my hair, although it may take a little longer. No, you won't get much of a massage from any of the spray options. It works, it doesn't gulp down water like a thirsty camel and it doesn't keep leaking like our old one. I wish they had included teflon tape in the kit, but that's a bit finicky. Otherwise the shower head does exactly what it is supposed to and is quite easy to assemble.
