I purchased a Haloview 3 camera system for our new 21ft Wildwood X-Lite trailer with high hopes that given the short length the signal would be acceptable. However, I found that the rear camera signal was very late and dropped out at times. The faster we drove down the street, the worse it got. The side marker cameras also had a time lag that increased as highway speeds increased. I contacted Haloview about the problem and they suggested this Revain accessory antenna. They even offered to refund the purchase price of the antenna. After reading some reviews I wasn't sure if a booster antenna would help but decided to give it a try. Doesn't matter! The reversing camera no longer dims and even at over 100 km/h the signal is no more than 1/4 second too late. What surprised me is that the side camera signal has also improved and is almost zero latency even at top speed on the Autobahn. There was a lot of antenna cable to run from the rear view camera to the front of the camper, so I installed the antenna on the front aluminum panel of the trailer, just in front of the seam where the roof rubber ends. I wasn't sure if double sided tape would hold the antenna in place at top speed and in the rain, but we had just returned from a 2,800 mile trip up the east coast and the antenna stayed in place even after the Camper had received a well-deserved award at the end of the wash.. I bought some Dicor overlap sealer and plan to apply it to the base of the antenna in the future. All in all it was a very pleasant purchase!
