These gloves are ideal for everyday cold weather. Warm, windproof, waterproof, yet thin enough to carry almost anything with your hands. The first pair was worn out after two years of winter use (Idaho winter). I carry one pair in my purse and one pair for outdoor activities. They will NOT replace ski gloves or gloves for long outdoor winter sports. But attractive work gloves are only more functional (like scraping ice off a car).
