I have 18 inch curls and I needed something that would sit comfortably in my hair and sleep well in. I used a big hood, but I realized I needed something better. I bought an extended hood and I really like it! He stayed all night and lay down! I adjusted all my hair and let it hang loose instead of curling like a big hat. I will buy another one! Worth the money and absolutely no complaints. My neck didn't warm up like the hat.
