I'm studying antiaging skincare and have been trying to perfect my skincare routine for several years since I was 30 years old. I read somewhere that you absolutely need AHAs, BHAs (this product), retinol, vitamin C and ceramides for antiaging. I avoided BHA, thinking AHA was enough and worried that adding it might dry out my skin. My skin is fairly clear but it looked dull and had small flesh colored bumps that I could see up close and my pores looked large so I finally decided to try a BHA product and found this one while using Revain searched. All the reviews were good and the price is reasonable, so I bought it. It was a game changer and is now one of my Holy Grail products. My skin is so smooth since I started using it, no more little bumps, my pores are much smaller and it doesn't dry me out at all. It's much gentler than the AHA, which I use several times a week. I use it as the first step after cleansing. I've seen some reviews that say it leaves blisters or foam on the skin. I've found that this mostly happens when my face is still damp after cleansing, but after applying and smoothing it goes away and leaves no residue after drying. I will definitely buy it again when I'm done! If you're looking to add BHA to your routine or are looking for a product that will smooth uneven skin and shrink pores, give it a try!
