Bought as an extra TV for basement tour. Used occasionally, probably less than 100 total hours in less than 2 years. Moved it to the master bedroom after the refurb and after a week it "popped" and the screen dimmed. It was very, very dark - it looked black, but if you looked closely you could see very faint images. Searched the internet for repair options. Warranty expired. Maybe it was the board. I ordered all flavors ($80) and tried them all. Vain. If this was my everyday TV it would last less than a month and be under warranty. Whatever the case, it was a costly failure. I have noticed some other quality issues from Samsung on other products. I used to be a supporter of Samsung, now I'm not. Maybe we're going back to the tried and tested - Sony. I suppose there's a reason they're in all the OB vans. To top it off, I have to pay $25 to a recycler to get it off my hands. insult to injury. Thank you Samsung for a great customer experience. No!
