Biodegradable Baby Wipes with Natural Essential Oils - Pack (6 packs of 72) 432

Surprisingly these are good baby wipes - and I say that as a reviewer who actually has children and uses these wipes for their intended purpose. Even before the baby was born, we were challenged to buy discounted baby wipes every chance we got, so we ended up looking at lots of different brands (on purpose to try them). I can safely say that this is four stars for baby wipes compared to others. For reference, although I rarely mention other brands in my reviews: My five star baby wipe is Seventh Generation. They are very thick but soft without a strong or offensive odor. They clean well without being harsh despite being mostly water. A wipe will usually do the job of about 2-3 other brands. They tend to be expensive, but they're worth it as you use a lot less cloth. This is my barometer against which other cloths are compared. These biodegradable wipes do a pretty good job on big jobs. They're a lot thicker and stronger than most all-purpose wipes you'll find, but definitely not as thick as Seventh Gen. They have a fairly strong scent that smells deeply of essential oils - not my favorite but I'm not that concerned as if it were an artificial scent or perfume. However, the question arises: why not aloe or coconut or something lighter but still naturally sourced? But I digress. As for cleaning up the mess, I think they're doing a decent job for their thickness. This detail is crucial as a thick cloth should be easy to clean without breaking, but a thinner cloth almost always has its limitations. They are not thick enough to be used in a single layer like 7th Generation wipes; You must fold/fold the napkin in half to protect your hands from the substance on the other side of the napkin. That said, they're still pretty absorbent and effective - won't fall apart, stretch or tear - you only need to fold the napkin once or twice if you want your hands to interact with feces/food as little as possible. / other liquid you clean. Overall definitely a 4 star towel that cleans well and is very gentle, for me it's just too thin to be a 5 star towel. But they are quite good for their intended purpose. Now that another reviewer gave them a bad rating for not cleaning floors or dogs effectively, it's probably fair to say that I have no doubt they don't work well on dogs or as floor cleaning wipes, so don't do it as such sold. Floor wipes and dog wipes are much more durable and thicker and usually have some abrasion so they both clean the rough surface and pick up contaminated surface dirt. But these wipes are clearly gentle and designed for baby's bottoms, and they do a good job of gently washing babies. Overall recommended for anyone looking for eco-friendly, soft wet wipes for their baby. If you don't mind folding your napkins or folding them in half (which is common practice with many napkin brands anyway) these are great for you!
