I'm 5'7", waist 30". I run about 20-30 miles a week; not very serious, but still collect enough miles. Medium size fits me. Comfortable shorts to the point that after trying my first pair for a few weeks I have since ordered three more. Drawstring at the front and practical back pocket. It's hard to beat these shorts for comfort, let alone price. I can honestly say I have never been disappointed with any of their great pieces - cold weather leggings, cold weather compression shirts, sleeveless compression shirts, etc.
