I have two FireTV paired Echo Dots in my workshop that I wanted to wall mount and I saw these wall brackets. The description says they come with command strips. I don't know what the adhesive strips were, but they weren't command strips, although they were marked "3M". I decided to try them anyway. I am very familiar with using command bars as I live in an apartment and use command bars frequently and have followed the installation process on the box. Waited an hour before actually hanging the dots. They stayed on the wall for less than two hours before falling off. The adhesive immediately peeled off the strips and is now a sticky mess on the wall. I don't know how to take it off. Also, the "holder" part for the dots really messed up the devices. The speakers were constantly muted, the sound was cut off intermittently or completely. Not sure if this was due to the design of the mount, but once the speakers were removed from the mounts they worked properly again. Yes I could use screws to attach them to the wall but I prefer the Command Planks to avoid holes in the wall. I sent them back for a refund and will look for another solution.
