I use this on my patio door because I have dogs that like to come & go frequently in the non-winter months (in Wisconsin). I used the cheaper black ones in past years. This year I chose this one and am glad I did. The dogs can run through it without ripping it. It doesn't fall down with the heat from the sun. I used to have one of these on a corded phone at work and it worked great but less so for my cordless phone at home. If you are using this on a land line cordless phone that sits with the bottom in a cradle for charging, be aware that this fits all the way to the bottom of the phone making it thicker at the bottom. Mine would not fit in the cradle with this on it. I used some heavy kitchen shears and cut the bottom 1.5" off (it's hollow inside) so that it would fit on the cradle. Also my corSee full review
