I used to have one of these on a corded phone at work and it worked great but less so for my cordless phone at home. If you are using this on a land line cordless phone that sits with the bottom in a cradle for charging, be aware that this fits all the way to the bottom of the phone making it thicker at the bottom. Mine would not fit in the cradle with this on it. I used some heavy kitchen shears and cut the bottom 1.5" off (it's hollow inside) so that it would fit on the cradle. Also my cordless phone is rounded on the back and while the shoulder attachment stick, it doesn't stick as well and wants to roll on my shoulder when I'm using it hands free. There's nothing wrong with the product but be conscious of your phone and how this might work with it.
