This thing is awesome! I love having the option of using a cable or going wireless. This particular cable is decent quality and has given me no issues. I recommend it.

Seriously this cord doesn't even charge. They might as well called it an on and off plug and play. Every time I try to use it, my controller cuts off in the middle of the game because of low battery. I could leave it on charge the whole night but when I wake up, the battery is dead. Plus the cord is really short, you kinda have to sit about 2 feet away from your TV with pulling your Xbox. Honestly, this is a terrible product.

I received the charging cable on time with no hassle. However I "charged" my controller overnight to find when I woke up in the morning that it never charged! I can use the controller attached with the cord, and that is the only reason I gave two stars! I was so disappointed to get this for my father. He wont let me return though because he does not want to be without a controller for several more days. What a shame!

im a pretty hardcore gamer and the one thing i hate is the controller circle light doing the rotation around the circle, catches my eye and takes me away from the game, this avoids all of that! so great, will buy more soon for my other controllers.

This cable is much better than the one that comes with the official "play and charge kit". This one snaps on tightly while the microsoft one comes out way to easy. Both are functionally the same, this is just built better.

Long story made short, I got the cables and was happy until I tried to connect them to my controllers! They don't even fit, you'd think that the product would be tested before it's actually sold, unless they thought we were going to duck tape the connector to the controller. One of the two cables I bought actually red ringed my xbox, I thought it was just my game system but then I tried it on three more and the same thing happened! The item fits, turned on and synced my control. It's a bit lose of a fitting but the item non the less, works as it should. I'm happy enough with the item.

You can rip yourself off by purchasing these at GameStop or BestBuy, but they are the same quality and they work really well. I thought my xbox controllers were broken or that my rechargable battery packs were shot. This was the first step of troubleshooting and now I'm back in action! Great Purchase.

I originally bought this to connect to my PC so I could use it as a gamepad. Little did I know Xbox 360 controllers require a wireless adapter and this is only to charge on the PC.You can still use this to play on the Xbox 360, though. I received the charging cable today and contrary to some other reviews, it fits my black controller nicely and snugly. However, a piece of the cable which directly connects to the controller is broken and the circuit board is exposed. The charging cable does actually work, and I'd say it's worth the few dollars it costs.
