🎮 HORI Super Mario Maker GamePad Protector for Nintendo Wii U: Premium Shield for Unparalleled Protection Review

This case is very easy to install and adds an extra layer of protection to the Wii U gamepad. Considering that if you damage your controller you'd have to buy a brand new Wii U console to get another one, I wanted something that would help protect it when the kids are at home. It also adds a thicker layer of material to prevent the screen from hitting the ground if it falls face down. This design is also very cool. Bright colors make it a great gamepad accessory.

Even if I don't play Splatoon. I was impressed how snug and perfect it fit. It fits perfectly on a gamepad and leaves cutouts for you to press buttons, it doesn't block the camera, screen, stylus or anything else. It's a hard plastic so I don't know if it offers good impact protection. But the mere fact that it covers the gamepad means it could save a corner or something if you drop it. Also, I can look at cool art between squid splashes.

Perfectly fits the Wii U controller and looks like the picture. The only thing I didn't like was that the stylus is too big so it doesn't fit in the controller's built-in stylus holder. I don't know why the manufacturer chose to make a pen that doesn't fit the controller it was made for, but that's why I'm giving this product 3 stars instead of 5. I hate when accessories are made for the product and everything doesn't fit the product like it should. As I said, at least the case fits perfectly.

The case itself looks great, but the stylus? Come on HORI, you should have thought better about it. It does not fit the Wii U controller and cannot be attached with a strap, magnet, fastener, etc.; You need to keep it somewhere close by where you won't lose it to make it handy.
